David Cooper Exhibition

David in his own words...

"I am often asked 'What do you paint?' I am a symbolic artist, often with ecoconnotations. Words can only describe my work in a quantitative manner. "Emotions, values and thoughts must be experienced to be evaluated. All paintings are original art work - my compositions are my ideas and messages for the world.

"The precision, the details and the colours express the depth of my thoughts. I have been able to reflect on mankind and our relation hips with the environment - political issues, foreign affairs, peace and green issues surround us, my ethos is not to be pessimistic but to look at alternatives which can be amusing at times.

"I have had ample opportunities to reflect on people''s attitudes and the information from the media. I have made up my mind, now it is up to you."

David Cooper's exhibition runs from August 16th - 22nd.
